Me and my shadow – Chatel, France

There is absolutely nothing that clears my mind of all the clutter as completely as being alone, on a pair of skis, on a snowy mountain.  It tests my body, it challenges my brain, and it gives my spirit space to breathe. To read more about our truly memorable ski holiday this year, have a look at my post on Chalet Cateriane, a luxury catered ski chalet in Chatel.

I feel myself squinting at that glorious sunlight beaming off the snow. :-) I love being up in the mountains too. I’m not a good downhill skier, but I really enjoyed an evening of snowshoeing at the top of a mountain in Washington. :-) Absolutely magical and gorgeous. :-)
