Ornamental cherry blossoms – my garden, London 2009
When we finally move to our new house, I'm not going to miss our poky old kitchen. I'm not going to miss our creaky floors. I'm not going to miss the relentlessly blue fitted carpets. But I am going to miss this ornamental cherry tree at the bottom of my garden that has given me endless hours of joy with its exuberant blossoms.

a pity to leave behind a loved planting. could you not take a cutting? or perhaps a few pits to pot? congrats on your blog award.
I agree! You should totally transplant it, hee hee
Awww, I’m sorry that you have to say goodbye to the cherry tree. At least you have a beautiful picture to preserve it!
Nice shot! I like that the flowers are backlit.
Lovely shot, Jeanne. Nice bokeh, too!
Yay! Spring is here.
Snow glow flower shower, that what the camera sees the eye adores. Nice photo really well snapped.

Cherry blossoms are so pretty. Backlit photos are really difficult to pull off but you succeeded.
Are you packing yet?
And this one is the best picture of all!
