Bird’s eye view – Munich, September 2010

You’ve heard the expression “you silly goose”?  Well let me assure you there was nothing silly about this goose.  While the other geese were flapping about being bird-brained out on the lake at the beautiful Seehaus beer garden in Munich, he marched straight up to our table, fully extended his neck and practically pulled up a chair in an attempt to join us for lunch.  Not sure he would have been keen on the Sauerkraut and Bratwurst on offer though…

This is part of a series of non-food photographs that will be published every Saturday on CookSister – all previously featured  photographs can be viewed on the Saturday Snapshots archive pages.  Photos featured in Saturday Snapshots are available to buy as high-quality greeting cards or prints in my RedBubble store and the gorgeous A3-size 2011 CookSister calendars have just been released!  Something for foodies, for London-lovers, Italophiles beach lovers - even Saturday Snapshots fans! They make gifts, for friends or for yourself :)

Superb photo – excellent focus on the eyes. I’ve just ordered a goose for Christmas dinner, bloody hell they are expensive!
