London 2012 Olympic park wildflower meadows – August 2012
Although I usually confine myself to a single Saturday Snapshot, in a break with tradition I thought I would throw in a few extra shots to make a photo essay of the beautiful London 2012 Olympic park, taken during my visit 2 weeks ago to watch South Africa play hockey in their Olympic match. Hope you enjoy your armchair tour!

Love those wildflowers! If only they really did grow like that in the English countryside.

The whole Olympic Park area seems to have been planned very well and laid out so beautifully. Love all the natural elements. You can sense the excitement of being there just by looking at the pics.
Wow you take good photos! I love them all
How gorgeous are those flowers!!! Grest shots!
The designer of “Olympic village” did the great job! Very nice photo essay. Too bad this year I can’t visit Olympics:(.
