Rose – June 2009
What is it about roses that inspires us endlessly? O rose, thou art sick. A rose by any other name. Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may. Maybe it's the scent, maybe the mysterious unfolding of the petals, or the unique pattern of each flower's structure, like a floral fingerprint. Either way, this beautifully scented peachy pink rose had me mesmerised last weekend. Georgia O'Keeffe, eat your heart out!
