Inside the Olympic velodrome – February 2012
Today marks the start of the London 2012 Olympics – the third time that the city has hosted the games, but the first time that I have ever been in a host city during the games. Sadly, the one event that proved near impossible to get tickets for was track cycling, but at least we did get to see inside the super impressive new velodrome when we saw the World Championships there in February. Impressive is an understatement – both the building and the athletes.
