Pink perfection – Bloom festival, Dublin June 2011
Just back from a lovely trip to Dublin, thanks to the generous and lovely people at Bord Bia (the Irish Food Board), to visit the Bloom festival, Now in its fifth year, the show features not only a wealth of Irish artisinal food and drink producers, but also some gorgeous floral displays. These poppies were in the walled garden in Phoenix Park where the festival took place and looked like they had come to work forgetting to iron their shirts The festival runs until Monday 6th June and is a lovely way to spend a summer day – well worth a visit.
